driving success

9/30/2019

The three constraints that drive successful brands are also the guidelines for purchasing promotional merchandise for your company.
  1. Relevance (to the event, message communicated, and audience)
  2. Value (will the audience keep it, is the cost per impression worth the investment?)
  3. Differentiation (are you doing the same as everyone else?)

Beat your competitor at their swag game with intentional promotions and apparel.

Four Quick Tips on Making Sure your New Hire is Happy

4/29/2019

You may believe that the first day a new hire starts the job is when they sit at their desk for the first time. I would argue that the job starts for them as soon as you offer them the job. Here are a few ways to put your best foot forward when on-boarding a new employee.

First Impressions Are Important:
Make sure the team is prepared for the new employee from the second they walk in the door. I am not saying you need to roll out the red carpet and clap them in. Make sure everyone is on the same page. Tell the receptionist, clean their desk, ask someone to be a mentor. No one wants

Building A Brand--Curiosity, Engagement & Loyalty

12/6/2018

Curiosity drives Engagement.
You know how it feels when a new store opens and it is jam-packed with people who are curious about what all of the excitement is about.
You stop in and wander around looking for the perfect gift for your best friend and find all kinds of wonderful products. The retail staff is fresh and well-trained and oh-so helpful and friendly. You find a gift and end up making a few impulse buys for yourself.
A few months later, you stop in with your friend, but their newness had worn off and they not only failed to engage you, they ended up losing your loyalty since the experience did not deliver the same excitement. They had worked their magic on the first two elements--Curiosity and Engagement, so the third one should have been be easy, right?
Not that easy.

Engagement Drives Loyalty.
The next three visits during the year were disappointing from all aspects. The interior started to look worn and dirty, the staff was less-than-enthused and the product offerings didn't change.
They lost out on your loyalty. They probably also lost staff engagement along the way as well, which is why they failed to engage you.

Are you having trouble creating new business? Do you need help improving staff retention and customer loyalty? Are you struggling to engage your audience?

Our mission at QuickStitch Plus is to Build Curiosity, Engagement & Loyalty for your brand. Our team finds, creates and supports apparel and promotion programs that directly improve your connections to staff and customers.

Are You Really Saving Money When You DIY?

7/5/2016

WHY USE A CONSULTANT?
Promotional consultants go beyond just selling products. A professional and experienced promotional consultant will help answer your questions—even those you might not think of or didn’t know you needed to ask. We are able to help you design a program to get results and save you time and money in the process.

Building a brand is “about building authentic relationships with people.”  --Ryan Holmes, CEO of Hootsuite
We all use the internet to compare products, prices and find the best products for ourselves and our businesses. I spend (waste?) way too many hours looking at sites like The Grommet, Amazon and Macy's in order to find great deals and products.  But how many hours do you spend looking for the right promotional materials for your business and should you really be doing it yourself?
I talk to customers all the time that have spent valuable time searching for hours through the internet to save $25 or $50 on their promotional products. Even if their order came in just as ordered, and on time

What Are You Waiting For?

7/1/2016

Plans are good, but ACTIONS are better!

What are you waiting for? All day long we are bombarded with thoughts about what we would like to do "if only" there were enough time. Start a business, grow an existing business, change careers, go back to school...you know those thoughts. They creep in and we push them aside because we are unsure how to get started. You know you have a solid plan, but you are waiting. Wondering. Hoping. For a lightbulb to come on, for a million dollars to fall from the sky, for all the lights to be green, for the boss to promote or to fire you so you can finally be free to do what you want to do.
What thoughts are keeping you from action? Action, after all, is how your dreams and hopes move from the starting block to the finish line.
Just start. Who cares if the plan is not perfect yet? So what if you don't get the first iteration right? Keep working and MOVING toward your goals using ACTION.
Put down your pen, close your laptop, get out of your chair and DO something. Do at least one actionable thing that propels you forward. It doesnt have to be big. Small actions are fine, too. Especially if change frightens you.
We are all here to make our lives have meaning. And there is only one way to do this. Just start!

What projects, businesses, plans are you working on? What actions got the ball in motion for you?

We'd love to hear about your experiences.

3 Reasons Why Your Staff Needs to Wear Your Business Logo

6/30/2016

Staff apparel might feel like another expense, but these compelling reasons just might make you think twice.
1. Identification
If your workplace has a lot of visitors, like in a doctor's office, its helpful to have your staff in polos, sweaters or dress shirts with your logo embroidered on the left chest. Visitors will know who to speak with if they have questions.
Landscape and lawn care companies can benefit as well since they may need to knock on a customer's door and your logo can help identify the employee as an agent of your business.
2. Team Building

Sports teams wear them, so why not you? Your team will match, no one will get caught by the office fashion police for wearing inappropriate apparel, and everyone will have a sense of belonging to your organization.
3. Advertising and promotion
After work, many people run errands and while they are standing in line, many others will see their logo (make sure to get jackets with your logo in the winter). Think about how many logos you see every day. Shouldn't your company brand be one of those?
Last weekend we were working on a project and needed to go to the local hardware store. While in line I noticed 3 people behind me all wearing the same restaurant Tshirt with different cities dropped in. They were working on a new restaurant here in town and wearing the T's for publicity. It really got people talking.

If you are ready to get people talking about your brand, let's get started!

Helpful Tips For Choosing Promotional Products

Helpful Tips For Choosing Promotional Products

Building brand awareness for your business in the marketplace means you’ll need branded promotional items, yet the amount of options available can be mind-boggling. Here are some helpful tips that help when choosing your next promotional product.

Recipient:  At the core of any branding and marketing effort is understanding your customers and potential clients. It is important to know your target audience; their age, income, interests, industry or business, and even their capacity to make a buying decision for your product or services. These can influence which promotional products would work best for your brand. Also, think about what types of promotional  items you have and like.  Choose corporate gifts or promotional products that you’d be happy to own.

Event:  Where are you promoting? Think about what kind of products might be helpful in that situation. For example, trade shows and conventions draw a large number of people who love to pick up bags and totes.  Attendees can carry brochures and other promotional products they pick up during the event. Best of all, the tote bag is a product that will be visible during the show, giving your company the exposure you desire, and  remain useful long after the event.

Long-Term:  How much staying power do you want your message to have? Some products, like desk accessories, tech items and clothing, can remain with your customer or prospect for years, even if they are only used or worn once or twice a month. Items that can claim a spot in a kitchen or car can serve as a reminder of your product or service. Your goal is for the recipient to keep your company or product in front of your customer and in their mind so that they are more likely to call you when the time comes that they need your service or product.

Usefulness:  One thing we suggest is that products are chosen for their usefulness. Useful products have a higher perceived value and will be kept for a longer amount of time.  Products that are thrown away are a waste of money and resources. Choose promotional products that are useful and helpful to your prospect, such as a pen/notebook combo at a trade show, or a shirt and hat at a golf outing, or a solar charger and pen with a stylus for software customers.   Any item will certainly be tossed out or left untouched in a drawer or bottom of a purse if it is not useful.

Quantity, Price and Budget:  One rule-of-thumb to remember for promotional products is that less expensive the items generally have higher minimum quantities.  Sometimes it is better to go with the higher-priced smartphone accessory in smaller quantities than to choose a really cheap giveaway that you need to order thousands of.  Of course this will need to be determined by your overall budget.
Thinking Ahead:  Deciding on the strategic plan for your promotional products is very important. While some promotional products can be ordered and received in less than a week, most promotional product orders take one to two weeks of lead time or longer. If you want to have the greatest flexibility in choosing the perfect promotional product for your meeting, campaign or announcement, be sure to plan for enough lead time.
Choosing the perfect promotional products can be daunting, but it is far easier when you have the right consultants on your team, helping you every step of the way. Beyond simply giving you tips for selecting the right promotional products, QuickStitch Plus LLC can become your marketing and promotions partner, for your next event and beyond.
