Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, a nationally-renowned retail-focused ice cream brand couldn’t let Covid-19 mask their splendid image. But they still required employees to wear masks in the “Scoop Shops”, distribution centers, and factories. With a summer flavor rollout, they were looking for custom-made masks to match the ice creams.
While the mask market was saturated with options, colors, and styles, none were quite the right fit or color for Jeni’s ice creams. And with fabric availability being scarce, we had to be creative in how we could match the color palette requested. The solution was to repurpose brand new T-Shirts, cutting them into mask shapes.
In just a matter of weeks with a small, part-time staff, we were able to create 5,000 custom, branded masks. They included nose clips which were sourced from an Ohio-based metal manufacturing company. With this, we were also able to keep some of the mask cost within Ohio, supporting other small businesses.
Running a successful race requires a lot of training. For a running company though, running a successful race means ensuring everyone is safe, has fun, and of course, gets a race medal to show off online. But what does a company do when its biggest race of the year is sidelined by a pandemic?
That’s where we stepped in to keep the race alive! Our solution was to create a fully branded race day kit, complete with shirts, swag, coupons, and of course, the race medal. Nearly 2,000 race kits were shipped to the 10K participants so they would have their kits on the day before the virtual race was to open. Over 99% of the kits were delivered successfully before or on race day! But the success of the project didn’t end there.
Part of what made the 10K race day kits a huge success was being able to give back to the Columbus community. From the revenue generated by the project, we were able to donate one dollar of each race kit to The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio- a total of $1,850! In a time where RMH Charities were closing around the country, donations were desperately needed more than ever before.
A local branch of internationally-renowned chemical company, AkzoNobel, was struggling with their previous promotional and apparel vendors. They were consistently receiving products with incorrect company colors, misbranded items, and generally having a difficult time talking to a customer service representative.
By taking the time to meet with them in person, we came to understand that most of the issues could be avoided by following the corporate logo branding guidelines- information the other vendors either didn’t have or were unaware of altogether.
After switching over to us as their primary vendor, they no longer had to worry about receiving surprises of incorrect products. We referenced the brand guidelines to ensure accuracy of promotional products and maintain the level of branding standards required.
